Jessica Perez

Jessica Perez is a Cuban immigrant, who grew up in the metropolitan tropic of Miami, FL. Having moved countries several times and being the child of an asylum seeker heavily influenced Jessica’s resourcefulness, curiosity and resilience. A lot of her work deals with topics such as discomfort, identity, communication, entropy–through the use of process experimentation, scientific principles and material exploration.
